OUR INGREDIENTS

Shea Butter

Is extracted from the nuts of the shea tree. It has exceptional moisturizing properties from its natural moisturizer content, so it effectively improves skin problems like: dry and cracked skin, itching, skin rashes, and also replenishes skin after sun or beach exposure. Shea butter contains Vitamins A that has healing properties, Vitamin E which prevents the deleterious effects of sun and environmental exposure and Vitamin F that offers UV protection.

White Tea

Among 21 plant extracts studied, white tea has the highest content of antioxidants with the ability to inhibit enzymes that diminish the skin´s natural collagen and elastin, therefore slowing the skin’s aging process.

It protects the skin from the damage caused by free radicals produced by sun and pollution. White Tea also contains flavonoids, vitamins and mineral salts, which provide hydration to the skin.

Seaweed

The marine algae are considered an extremely effective skincare ingredient, since they are rich in minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants. These elements guard the skin against the harmful effects of environmental pollutants and help slow down the skin’s aging process. They help effectively in keeping the skin revitalized, moisturized, and youthful. The fossilized marine algae are impregnated with minerals and trace elements that possess hydrating and scrubbing properties that detoxify and cleanse the skin.

Olive Oil

Our products contain squalane obtained from olive oil fatty acids that are absorbed by the skin easily; has a great similarity to human sebum found in the hydrophilic layer of the skin, acting as a barrier to prevent dehydration and the loss of moisture. Because it has a great affinity with the skin, is easily absorbed in the epidermis, helps to maintain the skin´s elasticity, avoids wrinkle formation and gives a pleasant silky feel to the skin.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is the most prestigious plant used for skin care. It contains almost 20 amino acids, vitamins, minerals like calcium, magnesium and sodium that make it a miracle beauty herb.  There are many benefits of Aloe Vera, such as cellular regeneration, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial and antifungal effects. Aloe soothes and helps repair chapped and burned skin. It is also an excellent solar filter for ultraviolet light.

Almond Oil

Sweet almond oil is recognized for its moisturizing, emollient and protective properties. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E, reconstitutes the hydro lipid layer lacking in dry skin. Relieves dry and itching skin and body rashes. Sweet almond oil is an excellent skin lightener and helps to diminish scars or other blemishes of the skin.

Burití Oil

The oil of Buriti is cultivated in the Amazon and is considered by the natives as “the tree of life”, for its high antioxidant power, its high content of carotenes and vitamins, A, C and E. As one of richest natural source of beta-carotene, protects the skin against photo-damage and helps to protect the membranes surrounding skin cells, keeping them healthy for longer. Also has anti-inflammatory properties which improve skin conditions such as redness and irritation.

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba Oil is so similar to our skin’s natural oils, our pores allow it penetrates to the deep layers of our skin where cell regeneration and synthesisation occurs, providing similar moisturising properties to our skin’s natural oils. Also reduces skin´s transepidermal water loss, maintaining its natural moisture.

The jojoba oil is an excellent natural emollient on extra-dry and flaky skin, to help restore elasticity and minimize lines and wrinkles.

Sesame Oil

Sesame Oil has anti-ageing, moisturizing, regenerative and protective properties. The oil is rich in antioxidants, forming a protective film over the skin to eliminate the damage done by free radicals. Prevents the skin cells from oxidation, improves skin rejuvenation and keeps your skin hydrated. Their anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties make it effective enough to reduce pimples (“acne” would sound better) and prevents rashes from appearing on the skin.

Rose Extract

The rose extract we use is obtained from Damask Rose petals, grown in Bulgaria, and is considered the queen of all roses. In addition to moisturizing the skin, it has many benefits such as it’s anti-inflammatory, decongestant and relaxing properties. It is also ideal for a daily cleaning of the skin because it has antiseptic, antibacterial, and healing properties.

Chamomile extract

The plant´s flowers are rich in flavonoids, which have calming, anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. Flavonoids obtained from Chamomile have a remarkable vasodilator action since they directly relax the blood vessels walls thus augmenting the blood flow to the skin. As a conditioner, it enhances the appearance of dehydrated or damaged skin by reducing dry flaking and restoring the skin’s suppleness.

Zinc Oxide NON-Nan

It´s considered the best natural sunscreen, as well as protecting the skin from damage that is caused by UVA and UVB rays, is the only one able to respond to the full range of UV radiation.

As opposed to chemical sunscreens, the Non-Nano Zinc Oxide cannot be absorbed by the skin and is not metabolized by the body, which makes it safe for human health and for the Marine Ecosystem.
